Barbie’s Words For Barbara
Nicki Minaj or maybe one of her alter-ego’s Roman Zolanski went in on The View’s Barbara Walters for not getting her side of the Mariah Carey story. Barbara told her audience that Nicki threatened Mariah with a gun! And Nicki alleges that if she was another kind of celebrity she would have gotten the courtesy of being reached for a comment, but since she’s a black female rapper, she was not extended that typical reporting courtesy. It also seems that her issue with Barbara stems from Barbara’s absence from the show the last time that Nicki was on it, and that the esteemed talk show personality does not take her seriously.
Upon seeing Nicki’s accusations on Episode 2 of E!’s Nicki Minaj: My Truth… Barbara Walters claims that she only had Mariah’s phone number and not Nicki’s, and that’s why her side of the story was not represented. Since when is daytime television journalism based on who you have on your speed dial? Go Nicki!
